OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I FELL ASLEEP LAST NIGHT!
i had a great national day and i wanted to update the blog but i fell asleep after watching troy on channel 5 argh...
ok anyway yesterday was awesome. woke up early in the morning and decided to blow off the thick layer of dust on my xbox to play kingdom under fire. nothing special, just thought i would pay my xbox a visit after i last on it a gazillion years ago.

the day before was great too(and yes i forgot to update too -.- i noe im a terrible blogger ok). yup...eve of national day(our beloved nation's birthday lei!), and yet we still need to return to school for tests. well, i supposed this goes the norm for all polys in singapore.
during the nite, went over to south view to ball with brian and friends. lol i can't remember the last time i touched a basketball(ok now that's exaggerating lah). we all did i guess, from all the terrible shooting we "showcased" to everyone on the court. brian plays basketball as cute as ever xD
oh ya and dere was this group of guys shooting hoops before we arrived. when we started to play friendly games, they retreated to the shelter behind the court. percy said he thought he saw them laughing at us while we were playing =.= then when we were finished, they came back onto the court to shoot again. then there was this guy wearing specs who had his basketball hit me straight on the face! i'm not ben wallace yah, i don't kill people for accidentally landing a ball on my face, but he said "sorry," then walked over under the basketball and had the basketball in his hand, his bag in the other and started "acting cool." gosh im so disgusted lah...i felt like taking a ball and smashing it into his face and walk off...now how would that feel?! gosh i think my teeth got disfigured or smth...my gums still hurt like *&!#$@!
anyway, after that, we went over to lot 1 to grab our dinners. hongjie and friends came over to meet us at food junction...i was having claypot rice and it was smoking hot! then the rest all finish eating liao, and i had like almost 3/4 portion of my dish unfinished...brian went up with the rest to check movie times and colborn and a few others were kind enough to stay back and kept me company =D
we got to the cinema shortly after, and couldn't decide what we wanted to watch! lol "the simpsons" had a 6pm last show(it was 8pm then), hongjie said "secret" sucked, zhenye and zhongliang said they were gonna watch "rush hour 3" with their classmates the next day(national day), there was no "invisible target"(which i wanted to watch de zZz), i hate watching all the horror films and "881" show was like almost midnight, which many of the others didn't want(curfew i guess). in the end we decided on "rush hour 3" since it was the closest to our time(8.20pm if i din't rmb wrongly), and it seemed pretty convincing. well, poor zhenye and zhongliang had to go home since they didn't want to catch the same film twice, erm willingly yah.
the show was awesome...hysterical, chris tucker is soooo funny xD oh yah and btw while we were waiting for the movie, we went over to the arcade. and i played dis fighting game called teken or smth. colborn and the rest were watching me play before suddenly i had a challenger. hongjie went over to the opposite machine and saw a four-five year old kid playing. it was so cute lah...he was smilling so cute and jamming the buttons. well it worked though =.= i lost to him eventually and it was well since we had to leave for the movie anyway.

so anyway, back to national day, after playing on my xbox for rougly less than an hour, dad and mom came home with breakfast! my sis had congee while i had chicken rice.
i took a bath after breakfast and checked the time...oh no its 11.30am! and im supposed to meet my cellgroup at 12 noon! ahhh!!! im sooo late.
i eventually reached youth park and thank God they barely started. we were gonna play games that day and i was in the white team! because i was late, white team got deducted 40 points =.=
anyway, it was really fun and lots of things happened.
some hightlights:
after receiving our first clue, we rushed over to cineleisure arcade. unfortunately, the black team got there first and we had to do forfeit, which is playing imaginary badminton...we looked like complete idiots lah, infront of all the people queueing up for their movie tickets...den there was one part of our first task that was to compete in DDR(dance dance revolution) lol because almost everyone can't play that game, they looked so funny erm..."dancing."
our second clue was rocky master...dam cedric tricked us and we got fooled to some other place argh...in the end the black team got there first again...but because they ran off to get themselves drinks, we all had to do forfeit: saying the pledge infront of the entrance in cineleisure...lol it was so embarassing man...all the people walking in and out of cine saw us definitely...but it was hell of a experience yah.
another task was to solve a number of really lame riddles...i guess we were not lame enough and the black team solved it first and ran off with their next clue...
for two clues, we had to take a video and traid picture of ourselves at califonia fittness centre and ngee ann city respectively. nothing very interesting but really fun though.
then our next task was to grab a number of items and eat them in sequence. we went to the cold storage at ngee ann city. james and jace rushed off to buy the items while we waited for them near the fountain beside auntie ann erm pastry shop? they took a while so juswin and i decided to grab some bites. i got myself a lovely looking brownie and gosh it was the best i ever tasted, juwin "nodded in agreement" after having a bite himself. he got himself a tiramisu ice-cream and yes it was fantastic as well. the others got themselves ice-cream, donuts etc. i was un-satisfied and bought a few sticks of "terriyaki-liked" meat. mmm it looked better than it taste though. eventually james and jace bought the items and we shared the food among us before moving on to the next task.
we needed to go to 6 different shops where 3 sisters and 3 brothers had to wear one of their shop's item and take a picture each. shimin got me into this really luxurious shop and the salesman was like giving me the "are you sure you noe how much is this?" kinda look when i asked to try out one of the shirt and sweater. it was so paiseh luhh...obviously a 17 year old teenager in a high-class shop...um smth must be wrong huh? luckily i got my photo in the changing room without much trouble before "escaping" from the shop. we met back at the fountain infront of ngee ann city and complied all our photos before showing it to our ic.
basically that was our last task i tink(well there were more but i couldn't rmb all of them) we rushed back to the youth park to show the evidences of completion of all tasks to our "tua tao" which is our cg leader, chee kiong! we saw numerous people skateboarding around the area. wow skateboarding looked so cool...for a moment i thought of picking it up. i can't believe my eyes when i saw girls skateboarding too! one of them was really cute though :D
anyway, we had 1 tasked unfinished and had to rushed back to cineleisure to complete it before we can be declared the winner. by now the black team should be on their way back to the "pit stop" as well so we were really rushing against time.
well i had to leave since it was nearly 5pm to meet my parents at lido to catch bourne ultimatum. so i informed james+cedric before rushing over to shaw house. the movie was awesome! jason bourne is like so cool lah. the storyline was fantastic. i din't really understand the ending though, but who cares, i loved the action throughout the film.
went over to fullerton building with parents after that to catch live fireworks. wow hundreds if not thousands of people were already camping there before we arrived. we tried to go as near to the floating stadium as possible but the crowd got tighter and "squeezier" as the distance closed in. eventually we were stuck in an area behind a tree and a traffic light =.= well thank God the fire works was high enough to see from our view. it was beautiful, the crowd was screaming like they never seem fireworks before!
after the short but wonderful fireworks display, we went to bugis to eat steamboat! ahh...the food was great! well nothing special happened while we eat(praise the lord lol) and we got home right before midnight and i caught troy on tv! haha, my sis and i was glued onto the tv before i fell asleep on the sofa...which was where i started this entry...
